Location: National Museum Cardiff
2018 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Cardiff University Innovation and Impact Awards. On an annual basis, the awards celebrate our successful collaborations with external organisations and the impact these have for Wales, UK and Internationally.
The prestigious evening is a chance for some of our leading academics, their collaborative partners and distinguished guests to come together and celebrate these award winning partnerships at a black tie dinner. Winners are carefully selected based on the innovation, impact and added value arising from the collaboration. Partner organisations vary, from large businesses to small companies, social enterprises or government organisations and charities or public bodies, reflecting the diversity of work…and the power of partnerships.
The 20th Innovation and Impact Awards will be held on June 26th at the National Museum Cardiff and we are delighted that Sir Mark Walport (CEO UKRI) will be joining us for the evening and giving a personal address. Sir Mark will also present the highly coveted ‘People’s Choice’ Award. The ‘People’s Choice’ Award is voted for by the public and we need your input. This year’s winners will be announced on 1st June when the public will be able to vote for their favourite project until 22nd June. The link to the award winners and how to vote will be added here on June 1st. This event is open to Cardiff University’s current partners.
