Event Description
Building the iconic ICE Bridge to Schools.
The ICE Bridge to Schools is an innovative model bridge kit based on the second Severn Crossing; it is 13m long overall and 2.8m high. Pupils / young persons build the bridge under guidance simulating bridge construction until the full bridge is constructed when they can cross. In this way they learn that civil engineers build bridges and the infrastructure of society and gain valuable Health & Safety lessons.
Assistance is sought to help pupils build the bridge.
